"Everything about our bungalow was exceptional. Clean, comfortable, very nice furniture, well appointed kitchen and stocked pantry. The views were nice from our room, and on the grounds there were seating and viewing areas to catch the sites. The only helpful criticism I have is the lack of response to messages. They said that they are now using the app Guesty to register their guests, and it is new to them. The link that was provided to us via the Expedia app messages did not work for the Guesty app. Homestead said you will get your door code to your room only if you complete the identification process thru Guesty. I messaged a request for help. No answer, no response. Tried again next morning, still not working. We are supposed to check in the afternoon. Apparently I am on my own here. I decided to try the link on my laptop instead of the phone app. Now it finally went through! I could now put in my driver license info and take the required selfie. We now met the requirements to get our door code.
One week later still no response to my request for help with their new Guesty app. The only communication I received after our stay was to please do a review. Someone needs to monitor the messages, and be alert when you put in a new app, Guesty, in case there are some hitches in the process."
