"The overall hotel is very nice with a great rooftop bar to end the night and very clean. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is also walking distance to some of the best shopping we did the entire trip. Will stay here again for sure. "

"This was perfect for our short stay in Kyoto. Room service was excellent, the rooms are a little small but it seems to be the case in Japan :) we both loved the thoughtfulness and care for all the amenities and little touches in the room and the staff were wonderful and really helpful. Having laundry in the hotel was useful although the dryer is not too strong so you may need to run multiple rounds. This place was also close to the city centre and Kyoto station despite being in a quieter neighborhood. "

"I honestly could not have picked a better hotel. It was right outside of the subway station, which came in clutch when I wanted to travel to downtown Kyoto. The welcome drink was also very nice and $50 a night in March. It was a great deal."

"Excellent hotel with excellent amenities the spa and massage chairs or the highlights of the hotel not to mention the wonderful breakfast You might as well have free noodles service after 9:00 p.m."

"Bed was too hard for me. Asked for extra futon but was not available. Asked for a blanket and slept on top of the futon. Still too hard I felt like I was beaten up after two nights"

"I had such a relaxing stay! I was so impressed by all the amenities and my room was so comfortable. The common room is very inviting and I loved how there was always tea available. Big plus is the onsen bath and clean and spacious shower room! Really enjoyed my stay and definitely will be back."
