"The staff are incredible. Sail went above and beyond to get me here and everyone is so welcoming. They remember names and where everyone is from. I don’t know how they do it but I have never met a more welcoming people than those in Fiji, especially here. They have snorkel gear, kayaks and paddle boards ready to be taken out at anytime. "Serenity Island Resort offered us a truly memorable stay thanks to the incredible staff who made us feel like family. A special thank you to Emosi, Nate, David, Peter, and Seru for their kindness and hospitality. "Room on 3rd floor, no lifts. Aircon blows out smokers stench. Not sure if the hotel has non-smoking rooms. No restaurant for food, had to walk to a resort nearby for food."

"The bathrooms were not clean at all. Super mouldy showers to the point that I didn’t want to use it. Made the whole experience not great. No bathmats or hand towels were provided so everything got wet. Toitlet paper roll was not changed. Toilet pan was so wobbly. Shower felt disgusting. The bed had makeup stains on the pillow case and I found a piece of hair on the pillow. Most unsanitary hotel experience of my life."

"Nice enough overall. For the price (i booked through Expedia which 50 odd US per night (under half price)) its probably a pretty good option for a basic room as opposed to dorm bed. It's fairly run down, my shower was cold, WiFi 'is currently broken' in room..about a 10/15 minute walk to the beach & restaurants where you can hang out - whether ur staying there or not! Breakfast is pretty random, but its something 😅 Staff are mostly fairly indifferent to you being there (genuine?), no fluffy...

"Great hotel; new and modern. I had a nice room overlooking the water. There is a lot of music in the area, so if you want quiet this is not the place. Music at breakfast, music at night. Next door has music, down the beach a bit more music. I managed at night by closing all the windows and using white noise. Breakfast was good, and included in my stay. Variety of other restaurants and cafes in the area. Overall, a good place to base, and much cheaper than staying Denarau Island."

"The Palms were an exceptionally reasonable priced apartments, with plenty of room within the apartment with a washer, dryer and fully equipped kitchen and great friendly staff BUT this did not compensate for the amount of traffic noise that you have to endure, which makes sleeping problematic for anyone but the comatose or hearing challenged, ear plugs are an absolute necessity Unfortunately without the retrofitting of double glazed windows and doors it would be impossible for me to recommend...
