SkyCity Hotel
Large, clean room with good facilities. Handy location near to CBD - about 10 min walk to downtown. Most meal and bar outlets are not in main building but across a small adjoining lane way which wasn't explained and I didn't discover until breakfast. So dinner was somewhere else. Wonderful comfy rooms. Very smart and modern with high end bedding. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable and bathroom a good size with walk in shower. Quiet hotel even though it’s right on the airport. Stayed here twice and will do so again.

Quest Auckland
Fabulous view of the CBD and the Sky Tower from the 13th floor. Washer and Dryer was useful. But a couple of dirty towels was left behind in the dryer. Also the bed runner was very dirty, but thankfully the rest of the bed was ok.
