Like all hotel rooms in Japan the rooms were small, but the amenities were nice and the rooms were clean and set up in a way to provide efficient use of space. "My family of 8 had an excellent stay for 3 nights about 2 weeks back. We stayed on the 4th floor in 2 rooms. No elevator was an issue when moving luggage but the stairs were easy to climb, rooms were spacious and everything was clean. All amenities were excellent. The washer was helpful and the shower as a drying room worked awesome. The bus stops were close bus was frequent. Loved Kyoto and Ben's guesthouse!"

"Kyokoi Chikurintei is a beautiful property in a quiet neighbourhood. Its a lovely stroll to shopping, temples and shrines, and a quick walk to a bus line. The home itself is really unique - that glass floor is amazing! The soaking tub, small courtyard, tatami room, and comfy bedroom are highlights. The hosts reply to messages quickly, checking in is super easy. I highly recommend this property, we just loved it."
