"I absolutely loved my stay at The Island hotel and would recommend anyone to book! The hotel was large but extremely well maintained, the staff were lovely and breakfast included such an array of tasty food. Incredibly clean and I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. "Ottima struttura, situata a poca distanza dalla capitale Heraklion, perfetta sé si vuole qualcosa di comodo all’aeroporto. A pochi passi dal mare, in posizione tranquilla, consente di spostarsi per Creta da una posizione geografica centrale, grazie anche alla vicinanza alla superstrada. "Späte Ankunft im Hotel. Trotz der geschlossenen Rezeption wurden wir durch einen Angestellten freundlichst empfangen und das Appartement übergeben. Wir waren im Oktober 2015 für eine Woche in dieser gemütlichen Hotelanlage. Da es kurz vor Saisonende war, hatten wir einen ruhigen Aufenthalt am Pool und am nahegelegenen Ministrand. Wir würden aufgrund unserer Erfahrung in der Nebensaison dieses Hotel empfehlen. Wie es in der Hochsaison hier "gefüllt" ist, können wir nur aus Erzählungen...

"I would recommend Gouves if you planning the vacation by yourself. It is close to the main city and you can get there by bus even in late hours. And if you are going to Gouves, you should stay at Dimitra Apartments for its location and hospitality of the owner Manos. We came quite late, so he gave us lift from the bus stop to the hotel and the same on our way back. The room was big and nice, pool clean.
