"This hotel is right on the beach and caters to tourists. It is very clean and the room was very comfortable."

"Location is good for a short driving to Walmart for grocery, adding gas and eating at McDonald. But we heard two planes flew over around 6am which woke us up. The room has no air conditioning (most small hotels have no air conditioning in Hawaii). and it can be difficult to sleep if you go to bed early. Parking is good and room is big and has a simple kitchen to use."

"Wonderful short stay. Came for a graduation so didn’t really use the property amenities but staff and room were great. Enjoyed food at restaurant next door."

"The community spaces were very nice. The rooms were somewhat like a dormitory with a common space. Staff was excellent. Most importantly it was very clean, well maintained and comfortable."

"Delightful - ‘70s funky - very quiet (except for the evening bird that kept us awake until sunrise - fabulous homemade banana bread! - proximity to Volcano Nat’l Park is great - coffee and the morning stroll was great!"

"The rooms are okay, it's an old building, no elevator, no cleaning between days. The area was the real problem, so many homeless, you won't feel comfortable going out after dark."

"Proximity to the park and the town of Volcano was great. Easy parking. Quiet. There is no human on-site but they thought of everything you might need. On the downside, there was no AC so it was hot one night, the decor feels very much like a hodge-lodge of items, and Bathroom lighting was really low and dingy. On the upside, big room that could have easily slept 4 if we needed it to."

"Jeff was a kind host, The land was absolutely Beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, nice rooms though Eye stayed in the tent which Eye enjoyed. It gets pretty hot and there during the day and very cool at night. Less than a minute drive from my favorite clothing optional beach. Eye really enjoyed my stay. The hot tub was nice, the bath tub was lovely and the outside showers. The only issue Eye saw was that the inside shower curtain had quite a bit of mold on it but besides that everything was great. One of my favorite stays ever. They also had the sweetest cat ili’ili. The photos of the place do not do it justice."
