"The room is small but very clean-the bathrooms are shared but large and clean-there was a shuttle from the airport listed but this doesn’t exist-you have to pay 40 Eu for a 10min ride-that’s the only negative thing I’d say "

"You can't find a better place for the price near the airport. The breakfast is light but the coffee is good. We stayed at the hotel twice both coming into Iceland and then coming back from Ireland and we were very happy and the stays were consistently good. The town has excellent but expensive restaurants. Pretty consistent with the rest of Iceland. Would strongly recommend the library, hotel KEF, as well as mamma Mia's. The microbrewery Olverk, an hour east was also excellent. Looking forward to heading back later in the year for a more extended stay with trips east! "
