"Stayed four days and they never had enough breakfast food supplies and understaff, fridge in room didn’t work took them 4 days to get me new one. Bad hotel, housekeeping was horrible didn’t even vacuum our room for four days"

"4/5 stars. I was thankful for an early check in after a long flight. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with any/all questions. The staff ensured we had the pack n play for our 1 y/o which was nice. Breakfast was pretty good, your average hotel breakfast. Room was comfortable, darkening shades were helpful for naps for our little one. Super convenient to various locations around the area. Would stay again"

"Affordable price with excellent rooms and service."

"The bathtub was not draining, so I contacted the front desk. The lady there advised me to be patient until tomorrow morning when a maintenance guy would be available. They couldn’t even offer an alternative solution, like moving us to another room or providing compensation. Finally, a maintenance guy arrived a few hours later and fixed the problem. He did a great job. On the other downside, there were also a few minor malformations in the room."

"This red lion is a trip back to the past in a good way. Listen if you want fancy go next-door at the Hyatt. However you can get 20% off there breakfast just by staying at the red lion. It wasn’t fancy, but it was clean, it was an old hotel. But it was well maintained. B-"

"Had some minor issues with the stay but the staff helped to the best of their ability. The room had upkeep issues, the lock did not always work, there were cigarette burns on the counters, no smell though. The bed was clean and comfortable, and AC worked. No shampoo or conditioner supplied in the room. Plenty of parking, some sketchy people were lurking around the parking lot though and police did a drive through of the parking lot while I was there. "Had a brief but wonderful stay at Populus. Steps (or a 15min walk) away from all the great Seattle spots. The property is gorgeous and Zen-like with plants everywhere (watch out for the mosquitoes) and a beautiful library, music room, restaurant, cafe, rooftop—the whole property is impressive. Gorgeous detail in buildout, artwork, and furnishings, modern and clean but not cold at all. Outdoor elements meet a plush hug. "The staff were just excerpt, very helpful and according. John, Alissa and some other front desk and Valet parking were very very nice. In Housekeeping, Maria. N. Was a sweetheart. Her service was very outstanding and she really good with customers. She’s very charming and very helpful. We just love her so much. It was an excellent experience every time we have been there. "I did not like the fact that one elevator was broken for the entire stay at the hotel was packed. The breakfast food was lukewarm at best. One of the Hotel at the front desk was so loud and boisterous that no one within 15 feet of her could hear anyone else talking and trying to communicate directions. She 100% full of herself. I will not stay at this property again."
