The hotel is very tired looking. Breakfast was poor and needs more organising; bread not filled, no glasses available, food not available although 30 mins till breakfast ended. Gym facilities and pool was good as well as the bar and its menu. Overall a nice located hotel but needs some updating.

Hotel is a little tired in places but the owners are clearly expending effort and money to refresh and modernise it. Our room was clean and with a recently refitted bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We would stay in this hotel again.

Paradise

Amazing weekend.Bit awkward to find as we came in from kendal way ..Sat nav tookus throughmiles of one car wide road but its a paradise corner with stream and garden areas.. Some cottages residential but very friendly especially John..Also has smart TV and excellent wifi ..4 of us on anniversary ...
