"I arrived by myself on a rainy night carrying luggage that was too much for me to carry. My Uber dropped me off and although the valet looked straight at me and saw me struggling, he didn't offer to help. Instead, he walked down the steps ahead of me while I struggled to carry the bags down, he got to the door and held it open for me. There were a lot of negatives, but I think that's the natural balance of an affordable hotel vs expensive hotel. The front room of my king suite where the sofa bed was located made me and my kids cough, sneeze, and itch. We do have allergies so the room/bed probably was dusty. "We enjoyed our stay overall. The best parts about staying here are the rooms are clean and you are a short walk to the East Falls Church Metro. I found the staff ready to help with all of my questions. A couple examples. We arrived a night early thinking we could add a night to the front of our trip, but they were booked full. I was having some issues with my phone, so the young man at the counter - he helped us find an affordable alternative for the night. He provided advice on where to stay...

"Hotel was nice. Rooms are spacious & clean. During our stay only 1 elevator was working and during the morning the staff hadn’t loaded up & guests weren’t able to use it much. Most guests were utilizing the stairs. Breakfast wasn’t really a “buffet” as mentioned. It a continental breakfast with bagels, toast, yogurt & cereal. Nice for the price-point."
