A very clean city and relatively safe. Lots of traffic so always plan for extra travel time when heading out. Weekdays can be fairly quiet so don't expect the same vibe as similar African cities in other countries.

Kigali is a large city with the usual traffic problems. However it does have a vibrancy about it and if you are prepared to risk a motorbike taxi then quite easy to get around
