Pam at the front desk was wonderful. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and properly accommodated. Parking was free and very close to our room. The room was clean. No complaints really!
Location is very accessible and in the heart of the City. The room was clean and tidy, everything you need is available, the extra sink outside the bathroom is a bonus, and I like that we are able to park just outside our room. Its so convenient to load and unload our stuff. The free coffee and tea is a plus too! I will definitely go back here when I'm in Kingston.
When we arrived
We got a welcome reception
Friendly and accommodating
Very helpful for knowing the best places to see and explore
Will definitely stop by there again in the near future
This motel deserves more stars than the current online score. It is clean, staff are very helpful and pleasant to talk to. The location is also good, it is close to the downtown (too far for a walk but close by a car. It is easy access from the main road, but it is enough distance to be quiet. Our room with two queen beds had a fridge, microwave and two sinks, one in the bathroom and one kitchenette. The motel doesn't have a breakfast included, but has an excelent coffee and juicees at all time.
Pam was great ! She was very informative and helpful a great greeter! The room was ok .The step in almost broke my son ankle because didn’t expect a big drop entering the room
This was a clean and well positioned place to stay. PAM was the absolute best Host we have had In many years. Thanks Pam for your all your help and a great attitude
When you get there, Pam at the front desk couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. The room was pretty clean. Any staff we met were very friendly. We wondered if the area itself was a bit iffy, but once settled in, we felt safe and walked all over the place, day and night. It's located on Princess Street, which is VERY handy for driving downtown and getting around. There are also many stores that one might want, on Princess Street; Loblaws, Canadian Tire, Timmys, Subway, LCBO, Shoppers Drug Mart - all close by. The only reason I gave 4 stars for a couple of things was because this Howard Johnson was under renovations, so the pool wasn't open and some things were getting a well needed sprucing up. Over all, a good place to stay for the price.
Everything was excellent except the free wifi service. Wifi was not working properly deep inside the room. The person in the reception was super helpful.
Overall, very good.
I had a short stay but plan to stay again. The room met my needs and had a small refrigerator and microwave which was a bonus.
The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Also the complimentary Coffee was nice touch .
Thank you.

The beds are comfortable.
They offer shampoo and body wash so ladies or men with long hair make sure you bring conditioner.
There is not breakfast but they offer granola bars, tea, coffee, juice and slushies.
The staff would not budge on the room rate even though we checked in at 230am. I asked for a later check out and they said not a chance.
We stayed at this motel during our trip to Kingston because of its convenient location. They are ranked 2 stars but the service exceeded our expectation. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Our 2 queen room was quite spacious, very very clean and had ever you may need during your stay, even a separate sink when the washroom is occupied. Cons: there was no lock on the washroom doors which is unacceptable for families with kids of both genders. Management needs to install the door handles with locks. Also I think the room price was on a higher end for us. We laid $300 plus taxes for one night. Overall, I highly recommend this motel for your stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Motel is undergoing renovations. It's also in a bit of a sketchy area. Police were called one night for something. Room was clean, but 2 days out of seven there was no housekeeping, with a note saying something like "the hotel is going to be full tonight so we're not going to clean your room". But one of those nights, the next day the parking lot was 1/3 full. No breakfast, just coffee and juice and Slush Puppies (!).
Good location at a good price. Lots of dinner ng options located nearby. Had a minor issue with my credit card at check-in but staff were very patient and we got through it. Room was a nice size and everything worked. That's everything a budget traveler like me needs.
The staff there was amazing. The coffee machine was awesome. Everybody was really friendly and nice and it was great. I loved it there.

Pam at the front desk was very helpful in providing information about the property and about the town, as we were first-time visitors. Room was very clean. Renovations underway. Harp the manager was willing to listen to constructive criticism.
The staff were very polite and supportive, especially Pam. She gave us some homemade pastries, which were absolutely delicious. Overall, the room was clean and well-equipped with an iron and a hair dryer. The only drawback was that no hair conditioner was provided. If you have long hair, you may want to bring your own.
