The Albert was an excellent place to stay for 3 days while we went around Okkney Islands. Our room was huge and a view of the ocean! The only possible drawback was parking can be a challenge! But doable.

Lovely hotel with recently refurbished rooms. Had everything you needed. Comfortable bed and great shower. Very handy for all of the town. Parking options available which were in easy reach of the hotel. Bar was lovely and so was the food.

We liked the hotel, liked our room, the staff, etc. But we had a room with an adjoining door and it was paper thin. We could hear the neighbors' conversation, the TV , a sneeze. We also had the misfortune of being right above the pub on a Saturday night. Otherwise, would stay at the Albert again!

A comfortable , enjoyable stay, friendly helpful staff. Please put a sign for the hotel on the end wall facing car park. Arriving tired off 11pm ferry and following SATNAV to car park it was a problem finding the front door.

Brilliant room, great view and clean. Water bottle was welcome touch for those of us who don't drink hot drinks. Only negative was the bed was a bit lumpy, but nothing to stop me sleeping.

Every thing was basically good, staff are nice, hotel is clean a new, the only problem was the noise from the bar and event room kept us up both nights until gone midnight. Not ideal for c£200 a night

Friendly staff. Beautiful room. No issue arriving late on the ferry from Aberdeen. No parking but easy to find free on the road parking nearby. Lovely and plentiful breakfast but as this was not included in my booking we were surprised to discover it was so expensive (£18 each). Fabulous location which means you can walk to everything in Kirkwall and easily drive to anywhere on the main island. Could be a good base for a long stay on Orkney.

Would definitely stay again

I arrived late for checkin-in but everything was left out for me so it was super quick and easy to get into my room after a long journey, which was great! Room was clean and in a really good condition. Bed was very comfortable. The shower was amazing! Very powerful and hot.

It was a standard and convenient hotel. The bed was comfortable and it was fairly quiet. No parking outside but we were able to park up close to drop off our bags. Long stay parking wasn't far but quite busy in May so will only get busier during summer months.

Ideal hib for our stay.

Spacious room, and an ideal hub for our holiday. Slightly off the main routes, but convenient for harbour, information centre, bus station, etc The main restaurant was fully booked on our first evening, but the bar area could accomodate us and had the same menu. Friendly staff and a good choice of food, so we went back there throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again.
