My suggestion to the owners is that even people who appreciate such things don't want to pay money to look at dirty, scuffed up walls, and so I would prioritize repainting first. "

"If I were single I could live here. It's that comfortable. The freestanding apartment is ideally located and finished to a very high standard. Amazingly well designed and laid out. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bath. Many, many conveniences. Cafe table in garden outside. We parked once and walked everywhere. Lovely host. Really, I can't imagine anyone giving it less than a perfect score. Would definitely stay here again."

"We love this hotel when we visit Ashland as a family! It’s prob our 4th or 5th stay. It’s the perfect place to stay with kids. I appreciate the value and quality and the pool/hot tub and other amenities for the kids. And having a fun coffee shop/cafe right there adds so much! We think the fun vibe ads to the fun of the hotel and look forward to our next stay! (Pro tip-families, consider the various suite options! That extra space and the additional beds make a big difference in everyone being comfortable and having fun.)"

"This was the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at. Our room was very clean! The bedding and linens were clean and smelled like they were just laundered. We loved our pillows and wish we could have kept them! We were surprised when we saw our room had a coffee maker with coffee, a microwave, and a fridge. The lady that checked us in was very sweet. She told us to let her know if we needed anything at all. We have stayed in many hotels. This one surpassed our expectations. Housekeeping works really hard here and it shows. Our family was blessed to be able to rest our heads here for the night!"

"Loved this place. It was cozy and cute and the staff were friendly. I would recommend getting a bungalow room because they are more spacious and it seems some rooms have different amenities, so I would recommend checking out the features before making a final choice. For example, one room had a heart shaped tub while another had a skylight, and or I think some have kitchenette's with a stovetop while others may just have the microwave set-up. This was perfect for a min-vacation to relax with my fiancé and I was able to book a massage with Lisa who’s phenomenal; and don’t forget to feed the beautiful fish at the pond 😉"
