This hotel has a lovely restaurant attached with great food. Zaros Lake is just around the corner. My favorite part was the spring water running down the side of the road. A very lovely village to visit on your trip around Crete."

Everyone was warm & welcoming, plus always wanting to hear what you got to see while visiting their island. The hotel was Extremely clean, the floors sparkled. The hotel is striking in size and decor. The only 2 things they could improve for a 5 star, the spa needs music, lighting and a menu of options. And if you are going to have a balcony, a chair or 2...

"Ich war alleine für drei Tage hier. Alles war perfekt. Sehr freundliches Personal. Ich habe noch nie eine Hotelanlage gesehen, die sich so harmonisch in die Landschaft eingefügt hat wie diese. Eine wunderschöne Gartenlandschaft. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen und wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin, würde ich hier wieder übernachten."

"Close to the beach & the airport Karteros Hotel is in a great location. It is also 20 mins by bus from the port. WiFi is good, the room is large with lots of plug ports & a good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a wide selection of fruit, salad, hot items, pastries, fruit juice, hot drinks & more. The pool is large but not heated so can be chilly. A lovely one night stay. "

"Room was small but workable. Nice balcony to relax on not much of a view . Shower is very small a thin person would barely fit but the water was hot. Came with a small.fridge freezer and worked great once plugged in. A/C was available but they removed the remote thinking I would not need it so room was stuffy and opening the bacony door helped a bit until the mosquitoes made their way in so that was annoying.
