"This place was a mixed bag. On one hand, the location simply can’t be beat, being right at Shuttle Stop 5 is incredibly convenient for getting into the park, and having a gift shop and restaurant on-site makes things easy. Although the breakfast vouchers are not too convenient if you’re just trying grab a quick bite before starting your early hike. We stayed in Room 320 on the 2nd floor and loved the balcony—the views are gorgeous, and we saw deer every single day, along with the other farm animals on the property.
Our towels were covered in an excessive amount of lint. I had to repeatedly fluff them off else we would be covered with lint and look like a cottonball (maybe time to clean the dryer lint traps?).
The linens had spots of stains on them which really makes you wonder if it’s time for the inn to invest in some replacements.
Just a heads-up that these are two-story buildings with stairs only and no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up.
On the bright side, the room was well-equipped with a microwave and a fridge, and they even provide a sound machine to help you sleep. The lobby offers ice water, hot chocolate, and coffee, and there is a very convenient refillable water bottle station down the hall. Parking was also a breeze.
It’s a charming spot with great perks and views, but the housekeeping and room maintenance definitely need more attention to detail."
