"Approached the front desk to ask if they had a room for 4 stranded travelers. We were asked bruskly what flight had been canceled. We explained that we were kamaaina and we were stranded because the road had been closed between kona and ocean view. All in all, marriott ended up adding insult to injury that stormy evening."
