"I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Swiss Otel Büyük Efes İzmir that I feel other travelers should be aware of. I fully paid for a three-night stay at Swiss Otel Büyük Efes İzmir through hotels.com for one adult and one child. My wife and daughter arrived at Swiss Otel Büyük Efes İzmir in the middle of the night after an 18-hour international journey, exhausted, only to be refused check-in. Despite presenting valid identification clearly proving that my wife is our daughter’s mother, Swiss Otel Büyük Efes İzmir insisted on a written consent form from me to allow our child to stay. This requirement was never communicated in advance, nor is it a standard or reasonable expectation in international hospitality. It also raises a serious concern—why should a woman need her husband’s written consent to stay at a hotel with her own child, especially when official identification clearly establishes the relationship? At the time, I was on a flight and unreachable, leaving my wife and child stranded in the middle of the night with no accommodation despite the stay being fully paid at Swiss Otel Büyük Efes İzmir. They were forced to leave Swiss Otel Büyük Efes İzmir and find another hotel at a very late hour. Fortunately, another hotel accepted them immediately upon checking their IDs, and even expressed surprise at the treatment they received from Swiss Otel Büyük Efes İzmir. "

"More than expected"

"We stayed at the Emens Hotel for three nights. It is in a great location. Easy walking distance to the Bazaar, Open Agora and the ocean. Lots of things to see and many donar shops, cafes and restaraunts in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and the western style coffee machine was a nice bonus! Less than a10 minute walk to the main train station. We highly recommend."
