Good spot for our first night
"Easy to find off the main route into Reykjavik from the airport. Suited us well as flexible, nice rooms, comfortable beds and breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff who directed us to a supermarket to pick up some things for dinner which we could heat up in their microwave."

Very close to excellent bus transport to Rekyjavik city (you can pay with a simple app on your phone), there are nearby restaurants if you need them, and all major tour operators will operate very efficient shuttles to and from tours.
