"The best part about this hotel is its setting and outdoor areas. Absolutely stunning. The beach is a sandy cove and swimming pool lovely with shallower one for children and a deeper area for adults and older children. The rooms were dated but clean, and with gorgeous views from balcony, less so from the ground floor. They are arranged in small blocks with two downstairs and two upstairs rooms per block. We had two rooms but were in different blocks despite asking to be together. Air...

"The villa (Marianna) was exquisite. Overlooking Istron Bay and the Istron Hotel, the view was breathtaking. We were able to use the hotel’s amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas, which was nice. Dimitry was a great host and available to answer questions when they came up. Overall, highly recommend the private villas. Just bear in mind that access to the villas is via the Istron Hotel’s main access road so just enter the hotel as your destination otherwise you may just drive right...

"The staff was warm, smiley, and courteous. There was an issue with the room, and it was handled quickly and efficiently. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel owner was a pleasant person who came to talk with us, gave us tips on where to travel, and asked for our suggestions on how to improve the hospitality. It was definitely an excellent experience in Crete, and we will surely return there next time."
