"The Pavilion is an excellent hotel. We had a corner room, with large windows making up the 2 external walls - it was a little noisy, but the views more than made up for this. We booked a 'club' room, in order to have use of the 'club lounge' - this worked very well for us and we made use of it every morning (for a peaceful breakfast) and evening (for drinks and a light meal). We have used many 'club lounges' over the years, and this was one of the better ones. The hotel staff couldn't be more helpful and attentive and all of the public areas are well maintained. Overall, the Pavilion is a very good hotel, and its location, sitting on top of a shopping mall, is surprisingly convenient."

"Great location - next to Petronas Towers. Short walk to bars, restaurants, shopping mall and metro station. We stayed in a club room and the club lounge was like an oasis - lovely food and drinks with perfect views from the 24th floor. Swimming pool area was lovely - got very busy but always managed to find a sunbed. Staff were exceptional, particular the lovely man from Penang in the club lounge (sorry can’t remember his name) and the doormen. Only slight disappointment was breakfast - just didn’t do it for me. Would go back in a heartbeat."

"We had a wonderful stay at Star Suites KLCC and would happily return. The view was absolutely stunning — waking up to the KL skyline and Petronas Twin Towers each morning was a real highlight. The oversized king bed was incredibly comfortable (easily one of the best parts of the stay), and the amenities in the apartment were modern, clean and thoughtfully presented. The space felt luxurious yet relaxed, and overall it was a fantastic base in KL. There were just a few small areas for improvement. The kitchen had limited utensils, and while the tea selection was lovely, it was loose leaf with no strainer provided. A simple addition like that would have made a big difference. We also would have appreciated a compendium or even a small sign explaining where to find the pools, bar and other facilities — as first-time guests, it wasn’t immediately clear. Our room key unfortunately locked us out four times, which was a little frustrating. The team did send someone up promptly to change the battery (which we appreciated), though an apology at check-in would have gone a long way. That said, these were small things in what was otherwise a really enjoyable stay. The comfort, the view, and the overall quality of the apartment made it a wonderful experience. We’d definitely recommend it to others looking for a stylish and comfortable place to stay in KL"

"First impressions were excellent, great location, impressive foyer but these did not last. To be blunt this hotel needs a good cleaning and upgrading of fixture and fittings. The grouting in the bathroom shower was filthy, like it had never been cleaned. The sliding door to the bathroom was difficult to open/close and it felt that it could fall off its runner at any stage. There was a piece of dirt beside the general elevators that was not cleaned at any stage in our two day stay here, do not much attention to detail by the cleaning staff. A lot of the seats in the restaurant were quite badly stained. The staff at reception were professional and friendly but any other staff that we had an interaction with were not at all friendly. There are so many hotel options in KL that we will stay elsewhere in future."

"Plus points Great location, great views, great concierge and staff support at the entrance, breakfast has a good selection of foods from across the region. Bad points. Check in, had two check in twice as original staff member didn't do it correctly. Gym smaller side for the size of hotels, part of the gym is not 24/7 which limits space for those who want to do yoga / stretch. Amenities unbranded, in hotel branded bottles so unable t check ingredients. No response to feedback left on either ants or bugs in the room, including a note highlighting this and bites."
