"Great position on the Lake with easy access into Luzern, CHF4 each way. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with standalone Aircon which proved useful during our visit. Be aware most room do not have an unrestricted view of the lake due to a property in front of the hotel. Breakfast is taken across the road at the old hotel, but is good. The restaurant is in the same location across the road and we had a reasonable meal there. There is also a good Brazilian restaurant nearby. Be aware...

"Clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast! The views of the lake from the room were superb. Just a heads-up to anyone picky about AC, there is none. There was a fan in our room and with the windows open, the warmth was manageable."

"Great hotel in fabulous location with fantastic lake and mountains views. Staff were excellent and amenities were good. Shame for us was that there was major expansion construction work going in directly in front of the hotel and although 'paused' for summer we were not told about any of this until a few days before we arrived. Despite the 'pausing' there was still noise and dust being created directly in front of our room (and almost all other rooms) every day by workers apparently dealing with...

"No A/C and it was too warm. So many steps getting to the hotel. Given a view of the street - not what I booked. Front desk isn't staffed after about 11 pm. Fire dept pounded on our door down at 11:30pm because of the steam from our shower, cold water tap didn't work, and hot water was scalding hot. There was no audible alarm, and no peep hole on door to see who was pounding on the door. Thought it was a prowler trying to get us to open the door.
Would not stay there."
