"Great staff, very helpful. Great value for the money paid, in a great location but did have to climb a quite steep hill to reach main area of Istanbul, although only 15 minutes walks with very nice restaurants and atmosphere around. Very clean hotel with decent breakfast, very enjoyable stay. "

"We spent a wonderful week in La Mer Old City Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, modern and clean. The location is fantastic, we saw the Ayia Kiriaki church from our window. The Sea of Marmara and U3 train is 3 minutes on foot. The main attractions of Istanbul are also very close. The staff of the hotel is very kind, friendly and helpful, we would like to thank them all their kindness."
