Khách sạn La Asunción

"What a lovely property and Cecilia was wonderful. Welcoming and kind -- felt like staying with family!"

"Beautiful place, and I slept well. Friendly owner. Would recommend."

"Beautiful old home made into a hotel. No elevator. We were on second floor with sweeping curved staircase. Quiet and clean, Sparsely furnished rooms. Great price. We walked about a mile to nearby reastaurants and shopping. Offered breakfast if you requested the day before."

"La habitación tenía su ventanal quebrado, me encontré una uña postiza en la cama, manchadas las sábanas y en general muy mal mantenimiento de la propiedad, para el check out ni había personal"

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and we never felt otherwise during our stay. The building itself is a bit worn and has more of a hostel-style feel. While that may work well for some travelers, we were personally hoping for more of a bed-and-breakfast atmosphere"

"The room, the bed, the shower, and the breakfast—no complaints at all; on the contrary, it was all great. We'll definitely come back the next time we need to stay near the airport. The only thing we didn't like is that, although it's great that they are pet-friendly, the pet fee for a one-night stay was a bit high ($75 USD + tax)."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, situated on a main road with convenient access to the airport. Even during rush hour, the drive to the airport took no more than about 10 minutes, which made our departure stress-free. The hotel was comfortable, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was positive. We would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone...

"We have stayed here for 13 years on and off. The breakfast has deteriorated markedly. The only fruit available was a few pieces of limp watermelon. There was no milk, entire or cream for my coffee. There was only 2%. Fortunately, the robust coffee was robust. Years before they had coffee out for the entire day. That’s gone along with Tea and hot chocolate. The granola was very raw with no bananas offered. They give you the bum’s rush close to 10 am, the closing. As a traveler, I rely on...

"Adventure Inn feels like a true taste of Costa Rican pura vida rather than a generic chain hotel. It serves as a fantastic landing pad or departure base for travelers."

"Nothing"

"Loved the outdoor rest area with a pool!"

"First the staff- immensely polite and helpful. Clean, elegant, detail oriented lobby, restaurant (s) and rooms. Very minimalist in design but everything is extremely well thought out and Marriott quality. Rooms were very quiet. Great rooftop bar and pool- minutes from the airport and whatever you do, don’t miss their 5 star breakfast buffet - it’s worth it! Also - close to modern mall to find anything you may have forgotten at home some great food trucks just outside, little market, pharmacy etc...
