"Excellent location! Rhinebeck is a cool town with a great assortment of shops, bars and restaurants & numerous nearby sites and attractions. Beekman Arms is a charming historical inn with lots of character. When we arrived, costumed period actors interacted with diners & guests in preparation for an upcoming US 250th celebration, so fun! The main floor has a parlor/sitting room, several dining rooms with different ambiances, and a historic bar with excellent cocktails and service. At dinner, the service and food (large portions!) were fantastic- Pat took great care of us. We stayed in a large room in the main building; it was clean & comfortable, housekeeping staff were very friendly. Breakfast was somewhat limited but it was nice to grab a coffee & pastry before setting out for the day. There was an incident the 2nd night of our stay due to a loud wedding after-party congregating in the lounge which happened to be directly below our room. Management graciously followed up with us in the morning and went above and beyond to acknowledge our frustration. They were sincerely apologetic and assured us that the situation we encountered is not typical. Based on their response, I feel certain this was a one-off occurrence and not something guests should be concerned about. I only bring it up to show how obvious it is that they care about the experience of their guests. We look forward to returning and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay! Cool antique barn too!"
