"A beautiful oasis in the middle of busy Nanyuki! Very reasonable rates for a gem in the middle of town. 100% safe compound for foreigners (behind a large gate). Great workout gym with modern equipment, and affordable massages and other treatments in a relaxing spa area. Breakfast was the best I've had in Kenya (over multiple trips in 30 years). Bar is pretty cool. Staff helped me change the booking with no fees. One warning - the walls are a bit thin so if there is a party going on...

"I loved the hotel and some of the best and most attentive service anywhere I've ever stayed. The signposting to the camp needs drastic improvement (my taxi got lost which I understood) and the road to get there is dreadful. The accommodation is fabulous and I slept so well. The hotel has an Indian owner and most of the guests were Indian, either from India or local. The way they spoke to and disrespectfully treated the staff was shocking and entirely unacceptable.
