"The room needed vacuumed. It had sand all over it and dirt when you first walked in on the hardwood floor. The balcony could’ve used some cleaning. It was unusually dirty. Other than that, not a bad experience considering it’s on the beach and on the lake. I just don’t understand why the rooms aren’t cleaner."

"After we arrived at 11pm,a staff member came 4 times to our room to fix the TV, it would not come on at first, each time he fixed it, it only stayed on for 10 mins at a time, the next day maintenance came 2 times to fix it, the 2nd time he changed the box that was hanging from the mounted TV. The room door to come into our adjacent room had problems closing shut, we had problems with the room key opening our room doors, the walk-in shower was old, the walls of the shower was not put together probably, the shower floor and glass doors was clean, but when I closed one side of the door a screw fell out that help keep the glass door on track to slide it open, but that piece falling off made the glass door off track, but I was able to slide it enough to get out the shower. The breakfast was edible but, not tasty, the indoor pool was ok, not something to brag about, the density of the water in the pool was thick not light and crisp, the hotel has no loud noises after 10pm rule, we were surrounded by stomping from the room above us, and from the room next to us from when we woke up at 8am to 10:20pm, even though we were in and out each day of our stay, I did report it since it was happening after 10pm. I would only recommend staying here if you absolutely did not have any where else to stay, the beds were comfortable the room was clean, I did no see any bugs, but everything else was not well maintained for the price and for the good rating the Hotel received. Disappointed"

"The grounds were maintained, however the , we paid for a jacuzzi sweet, but the tub would not plug, did not realize that until we came back to the room that first night, very disappointing as there was no one there to fix it.They do not put coffee pot`s in the room, guests have to go to the lobby, and PAY $4.00 per cup., REALLY!! The bathroom floor was dirty when we walked in, shower was cleanish, but, caulking around the inside shower, seemed to have had mold. The beds are extremely high, but comfortable.. The outdoor pool and hot tub were nice.. The Tiki bar was great, the bartender was very sociable, did his job well. We reserved this for 2 nights, but were not able to leave, We went down to reserve for Saturday night as well,. We had to change rooms, understandable, but we were put on the second floor, which was not a problem, but once again, the shower in this one ,was worse. Missing grout around outside shower tiles, caulking and shower seals were nasty, like it was never cleaned. beds were the same as first room. Well, then, ice machine. across our room, OUT OF ORDER!!. The HEAT/Air unit was very noisy. The toilet had a dripping sound,, which we could not figure out.Got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, The toilet handle fell right of the toilet.. I did not stay there to continually have to have maintenance come clean or fix things. We paid a lot of money for this room, and what a disappointment it was."

"Half our room didn’t work and the staff tried to tell us we were wrong. The worst part was there were bed bugs and the management didn’t want to help us. They offered us $6 for laundry for four people and that was only after we continued to complain about it. Their initial response was just to make us check out and leave early and only give us a refund for the one night we stayed. Would not recommend this place to anymore."

"Very disappointing experience from the moment we arrived. The self-check-in kiosks were not working for me and several other guests, which created a long line. To make matters worse, there was only one employee handling check-ins, so it took an unreasonably long time just to get our room. Unfortunately, things did not improve after check-in. The room had a noticeable bad odor, and when we checked the bunk beds, there were old chips and debris underneath the mattress that looked like they had been there for a very long time. The cleanliness and overall upkeep were far below what I would expect from a family resort. The water park itself was also underwhelming and poorly maintained compared to other indoor water parks we have visited. For nearly $500 per night, the value simply is not there. The 4.2-star rating completely fooled me. Between the long check-in wait, lack of cleanliness, and disappointing facilities, this was one of the worst resort and water park experiences we’ve had. I would not stay here again, especially at this price point."

"Room was beautiful and very clean along with the resort. Note: pillows aren’t very comfortable and the restaurant stays open until midnight however they stop serving food at 10PM. wish we would have known that."
