Just a side note, the upper floor is designed for kids/juniors and it may be difficult to be used by tall adults. Great location just next to the Aiguille du Midi cable car. There is also an washer/drier but it is in the basement of the next building, you have to ask for it."

The building is a bit dated due to being in business for over 100 years by the same family, but don’t let that turn you away. "Great spot for exploring the area and well placed for shops and food in the centre of Chamonix. We booked a room with a mountain view and were lucky enough to be on the Mont Blanc side of the hotel. Worth checking when you book/before you check in. The room itself was all great. No air conditioning, but we didn't need it as it's cooler in the mountains than elsewhere in July. The only thing missing from the room were tea and coffee making facilities."
