I had an incredible experience at this hotel! The location was perfect as it allowed me to explore the surrounding area on foot. The cleanliness of the hotel was remarkable, and I was particularly impressed with the functionality of the kitchen. Being situated in a historic area added a charming touch to my stay, and the proximity to shopping options was a great bonus.

Very pleased with amenities - full kitchen (including dishwasher) and lots of pans, dishes, implements. Responsive two-zone heating. Elevator. Excellent location in center of town - easy walk to restaurants, shops, attractions. Free parking (good deal since town has paid parking). Price was competitive for area. Only negative was the lots wasn’t plowed well - lots of deep ruts with ice, slush, hard snow. We will definitely return!!

The apartment was very spacious, very clean and centrally located. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The only downfall was the late night noise from the restaurant next door. The bedrooms looked out on the parking lot so not much you could do about it. The dining and living room looked out on Main Street and no noise from that side. I would highly recommend staying at Lake Placid Inn Main Street.

Clean and spacious

The unit I stayed in was very clean (and I am quite picky) and spacious. On the whole, the kitchen was well equipped, but it did not have a pot. So, I was not able to make the pasta that I had brought. Overall, a very nice stay.

Comfy sheets and odd entry.

The entrance to the property is a bit odd as it is a doorway shared with a side entrance to Subway. The accommodations are extremely clean and the space is very nicely organized. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom was very nice. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the sheets were so soft. The space can feel a bit dark and the only windows overlook the parking lot. That said we slept extremely well in that oh so comfortable bed.

Great location/pictures do not reflect one bedroom

I would recommend this property, however, know that the pictures on the site do not accurately reflect the one bedroom option. I was expecting a lot of light and a great view of town. The one bedrooms are at the back overlooking the roof with the industrial air conditioner. So you cannot open the blinds. That said, the unit was very nice, the kitchen worked well to cook breakfast, and we did not spend much time in the room outside of overnight. It was easy to check in and out, and the staff was very responsive. Just know going in that with a one bedroom option you will not have the views shown in the photos.
