"There isn’t much that I can say positively about this hotel. I will start with the good. The location of the hotel is great. It’s close to shopping and plenty of places to eat. The staff is nice and professional. The check in was quick and easy. Now, the rest. This hotel did not live up to any of the expectations that I would expect from the La Quinta hotels. There is limited parking. The pictures online do not show the real conditions of the hotel. It’s very old and run down and needs to be renovated. The paint is peeling and there is visible water damage on the ceiling throughout the hotel, which explains some of the odor issues. There is an unpleasant odor throughout and it was worse in my room. It was so bad that I went to the store and bought a plug in air freshener, but it did not mask the odor. The room felt dirty. All of the furniture in the room was old and beat up. Both chairs were ripped and the lampshades had water damage. The carpet was old and dirty. The tile on the bathroom floor had cracks and the toilet didn’t always flush properly. The pillows on the bed were horrible and needed to be replaced. There was an ironing board in the room, but it didn’t have the cover, so it was impossible to iron on it. Although the TV was a Samsung, it wasn’t smart and was pretty basic. As for the breakfast, it could have been better. There wasn’t much variety, but I guess it was better than nothing. "Room was not clean the first room had hair on the bedding as well as stains. The bed looked like it was straightened out not made up. The air conditioning was set to 60 degrees. The second room had spots and hair on that bedding also and the room had baby roaches running around. We checked out and went to a other hotel. After speaking with the hotel they refunded my money but still charged me 90 dollars because we messed up the bedding so they could not rent the room out that night. "
