"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Diamar. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we were happy to get a sea-facing room. We found the hotel to be very quiet, which was nice. The staff were very friendly. We didn't pay extra for breakfast or dinner, though the buffet menus looked good — more generally we liked eating at the nearby bars and restaurants, which seemed to be frequented by locals. We liked the location on the water and boardwalk. Overall Arrecife feels less touristy than elsewhere on the island, which we liked too. We had a car, and while we would have been terrified to use the (small) parking garage if it were full, it luckily never was and so there was plenty of room to maneuver. We would recommend staying in Arrecife and in this hotel!"

"My husband and I have just spent a wonderful 5 nights at Secrets Lanzarote. We opted to upgrade to Preferred Club (which I would recommend). We initially stayed in a double room but were very fortunate to be upgraded on our second day to a junior suite. Both rooms were lovely and not too much difference between them. The staff there are wonderful, extremely attentive, polite and friendly. The food was excellent and drinks included the premium spirits as part of the all inclusive package. The hotel is easy walking distance from the port where you'll find a range of good restaurants (Mumbai Masala was amazing!) and a water taxi to Puerto Del Carmen. It's a very quiet area, perfect for a relaxing holiday but you may find it too quiet if you prefer a bit of bustle and night life. There are cats who live at the hotel. They're very friendly if you interact with them but otherwise leave you alone. They are well looked after. Overall a fantastic holiday and we can see why people return time and time again. "

"The staff were all friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, but the food really stood out, we opted for half board, lots of breakfast options available, a large selection of smoothies and juices, the food in the evening was always warm, with lots of good choice available, the cocktails were very well made in the lounge area. We ate in the restaurant for lunch too, and it was really enjoyable, quick service, with or without booking, even though this wasn’t included in our package, it was well worth paying for. There was always loungers available, and a nice quiet environment to relax "

"We just spent 4 nights at Iberostar. Would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were really friendly, plenty of activities to do for everyone. We went half board and they had a lot of choices (vegetarian/vegan) for both breakfast and dinner. I went with my 6 year old and he really enjoyed the water slides at the hotel. The room was really clean and spacious. We had double partial sea view room. The hotel also has a good location. "

"We all loved this hotel. The biggest surprise was heated pool (main pool and kids slides), food was absolutely amazing, a lot of choice in breakfast and dinner (didn’t had lunch cos we were on half board). Nice bars for drinks and cocktails. We enjoyed to the max….. will definitely go there again. Highly recommended "
