"My wife and I had a wonderful 1-night stay at Hotel Burg Wassenberg. We felt very welcomed by the wonderful staff, from personally showing us to our room to the restaurant staff going out of their way to ensure my wife had one more schnitzel before leaving Germany. All-in-all, it was a memorable moment on our vacation, after a series of forgettable budget hotels. And the historical town of Wassenberg is worth a visit, even though it’s off the beaten path. "No, no, no and one more time NO. Place looks amazing, yet the service requires much improvement. I wanted to have some sleep, yet guests of the room opposite to mine had a party in their room and hallway. I called reception to come and calm them down, yet I was ignored. Instead of having nice 8 hrs sleep I had 4 hrs and I missed my breakfast. Morning receptionist was very apologetic yet absolutely useless."

"Had a lovely stay, great value for money, lovely walks, nearby wessen has lovely restaurants. Only regret is we didn't stay longer to try the pool, bowling and restaurant. Hope it stays reasonably priced! Good base for Efteling "
