I guess there were too many others at the motel that consumed all the hot water and their water heaters couldn't keep up. Not being able to shower before a business day was not expected."

"Let me start by saying that Alan, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was very clean. However, the cleaner used on the tile left a very strong smell that irritated my eyes if I stayed in the room too long. I ended up getting a candle to help cut the smell, which did improve things. The motel itself is quite dated. The beds were older but still comfortable, and the rooms only offer single and twin beds. I was glad to have both a fridge and microwave in the room. The bathroom was very small, but again, very clean. The location is convenient, right in downtown Haileybury, just up the street from the beach and waterfront, with the LCBO directly across the street."
