"Enjoyed our stay and the staff was great"

"An historical hotel that would benefit from a renovation. Our room was on the ground floor, smelled of mildew, with need of new carpeting and bedding. The room door would only stay closed when locked and had significant gaps around the edges. "

"The room was clean and orderly. No wash cloths and the soaps were not hypoallergenic. Lovely shower though. Great coffee. Friendly staff. The food was pretty good at Bar Bibi, and the drinks were delicious. Ordered a burger using room service and it was very, very salty and overcooked for the exorbitant price. Lots of great restaurants a stone’s throw away. Disappointed the pool wasn’t open in the morning for a quieter swim. "

"Classy decor, very modern, which is a bit at odds with the historic district vibe, but overall nice amenities. Larger bathroom and good counter space. Limited food/menu choices on site, but good for happy hour. Great central west side location for walking North to River Street or South to Forsythe Park and everywhere in between. "

"Our room had dirt and dust in the corners and especially behind the bed. The bathroom had black mold on the tiles in the shower. The vent in the shower looked like it had never been cleaned. "

"Beautiful lobby and building. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Furniture in room a little dated. Great breakfast options in the morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. "

"Don’t stay in any of the rooms with 11… we were given 411 and I could touch the elevator with a broomstick. Luckily the front desk changed it for us. Otherwise great stay. Drinks from the bar were good. Not too far of a walk from the best spots in downtown. Would stay here again. "

"This was the most uncomfortable accommodations Ive ever stayed in. The beds were so uncomfortable I could barely sleep. The couch had almost no back, so watching TV was not relaxing at all. There was no place to sit and work, no place to put suitcases - it was a modern, minimalist mess that photographed really well for the listing. Front door lock is broken, so anyone can wander in; Drywall dust everywhere from recent repairs… Multiple calls to the management company went unanswered (I guess...

"One of the most disgusting places I've ever seen in my life. This place shouldn't even be advertised in expedia, but they have very lower standards and that we did not know that. We only needed a place to sleep for one night, and there's a enormous difference between being a low rate motel and being a disgusting dirty place. How's that place not reported? It should be considered a health hazard "
