"An absolute joy. We arrived a bit early and sat by the pool until the owners arrived. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom and the bathroom were perfect. We made use of the bath and shower. Plenty of hot water.

"Arrived midnight after long flight delay. Welcomed by duty manager. Room clean and good breakfast. A convenient stopping point on journeys through Auch and looked to be an interesting town for a look round. Sadly we just did not have time."

She holds one of those, nowadays, rare qualities of creative vision. I have stayed in far too many soul less, clinical lodgings that I care to mention. This being the perfect antidote.
