"Great spot for exploring the area and well placed for shops and food in the centre of Chamonix. We booked a room with a mountain view and were lucky enough to be on the Mont Blanc side of the hotel. Worth checking when you book/before you check in. The room itself was all great. No air conditioning, but we didn't need it as it's cooler in the mountains than elsewhere in July. The only thing missing from the room were tea and coffee making facilities."

"I travelled with my family, including 2 kids, around France. This was my son's favorite hotel out of the 3. It was great having a separate room/space for the kids. Hotel was clean and cozy, even during the summer. My son loved the lobby and giant chess board. I loved the balcony overlooking the river and mountain view. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Location was perfect, just a 5 miute walk from the center. We ate at the pizzeria next door, and it's just down the street from Le Monchu. We...
