"Conveniently located at Gatwick South Terminal so ideal if catching an early morning flight. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a long queue at check-in which was tedious, but apart from that, the hotel was good"

"The hotel staff were kind and accommodating! The hotel decor was questionable. The elevator (lift) was tiny, the halls are very dark and narrow! The room was clean, however there were several dead bugs (bees) on the window sill. We did not eat there so I can comment on the food! Transportation to and from the airport is 5 GBP per person each way! Bus was close to schedule but rarely on time. I think that the next time we visit London we’ll stay in London instead of Gatwick."

"Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."

"I booked a room for one night. I was allocated room 440. The room was unbearably hot and was uninhabitable as a consequence. Despite my protestations I was unable to move rooms and ended up having to sleep in the car. I ended up asking for a refund which is yet to be forthcoming. I am waiting to hear from the nanager"

"Didn’t get offered our VIP perk. Did ask for late checkout and it was offered which was great but housekeeping came in without knocking. Reported TV didn’t work and no-one came to fix it. Breakfast manager was v grumpy. Mixed bag but would probably would use again!"

"Well what a suprise this was! Years ago the White Horse had a bad reputation and was considered a bit of a dive. No longer though. The current owners have turned this into a very clean, well presented and comfortable stay. The staff were efficient, friendly and courteous. "We’re so glad we decided to stay here instead of some chain hotel! It had so much character & charm. Our room was large & very comfortable. The bathroom was also large & beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds could use a little TLC (my husband was a landscaper 😉) but they were beautiful nonetheless. There was a wonderful Pub within walking distance where the food & atmosphere was wonderful! Perfect ending to our European vacation. Thank you 😊"

"It was good for a one night stay before an early morning flight from Gatwick airport. Google Maps gave us walking instructions from south terminal but it wasn’t super easy to figure out how to find the right exit. The beds and room was very comfortable for the night. Didn’t interact much with the staff, they gave info on check in about a shuttle service you could pay for. It was smooth."

"Check in and out were very smooth. The room was sufficient although much smaller than advertised and did not include a fridge. Thankfully our room was on the courtyard side so quieter and the A/C worked very well!"

"My husband and I had the best experience at the Bulls Head Inn! We loved everything about it—the quaintness of the town, the cleanliness of the inn and our room, and the food and drinks at the pub (the veggie burger was amazing!). The list could go on.
