"The staff was friendly and the location in relationship to Mizzou can’t be beat. However the room was unacceptable. Not just dated, but in complete disrepair. The beds are lumpy and uncomfortable. The furniture is chipped and have holes in them. The bathroom door was crumbling, the wall paper in the bathroom was peeling. The wall controls for the air conditioner didn’t work, and the unit was very loud, and had a hard time keeping up with the heat. The curtains didn’t close all the way. I had to...

"Perfect location. We could Walk the Katy trail to the farmers market and restaurants. The hotel bar was quaint and had wonderful crafted drinks. The dining room and food were fresh and delicious. Our room overlooked the river , but was somewhat noisy due to the cooling system located above us on the roof. Overall this hotel was nostalgic and a delight to stay at."

However I was very surprised that upon checkout I was told I owed $200 for selecting a “package” that included a daily resort credit and free bike rentals. I was there for work and never would have opted in for this. I feel deceived and disappointed that when I checked in it wasn’t called to my attention and given the option to decline it."

"Lack of security entering the hotel, old dirty carpet, outdated furniture, cigarette smell in the room and in the elevator, chipped furniture in the bathroom, unstable (shaky) bed that could fall if moved too much At least there's a kitchen?? We didn't use it but let's say our stay was a rather colorful experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone"
