"Truly a fantastic experience. My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and stayed in one of the villas with a deck. Property overlooks a beautiful spot in lake como in a quieter section Lezzeno. Restaurant and bar on site were excellent, we went to one or the other every single night. Staff was extremely helpful in organizing taxis. Everything was reasonably priced. "We thought the actual view from the hotel was even better than the pictures. We heard coocoo birds and various wildlife when we out walking about. The staff was exceptionally kind and could speak English perfectly. We ate dinner one evening and had the eggplant parmigiana, which rivaled the best we had in Italy. "The hotel is located on the mountain and the view of lake Lugano is spectacular. As it turns out, the rest of the experience was less so. We arrived around 10pm and by then, the kitchen was closed. The staff reluctantly served us drinks while at the same time wiping tables and closing down - despite the fact that the bar was supposed to stay open for another 30 minutes.
