"We love saying at HIE. The facility is always really clean, staff is always more than willing to help or get what you need and rooms are comfortable. We come to town at least 4 times a year because we have family that lives in the area. This time I was a little disappointed because there are a couple hotels in the area that compete and this one and one other are the only ones in Rockingham that have pools. I made sure before I made the reservation that the pool was operational, and when I called was told Yes! It is ready, only to realize and be told when we pulled up that it wasn’t even opened yet for the season. There is a certain reason that we enjoy the pool, and to know that someone went out of their way to lie about the pool being open was crappy. From now on, I’ll make sure my family goes by to make sure for us before booking. We do really enjoy this location and the staff though. They are wonderful, so friendly and helpful."
