"Tesouro da Baixa was the perfect place for us to base ourselves in Lisbon. All of the main attractions in old Lisbon are easily walkable from this hotel. The staff were all so friendly and helpful; the rooms were clean and much larger than expected; the breakfast was varied and huge. We felt very safe and secure in this quiet space amid the hustle and bustle of Lisbon. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a home away from home in Lisbon."

Cons: very old equipment + electrics, near to quite noisy crossroad, also from the hallway you can hear everything. Official check-in 4:30 p.m. In our case one bed was so squeaky… For low price you get low quality – so simple. Do not try to contact the hotel via messages – no response. "We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The shared bathrooms were almost always available when needed and if they were occupied, you could go down a few floors and find a free one. The woman who checked us in was very sweet. "Quiet bit within easy walking distance of town facilities. Shower & toilet were not in a bathroom, they were accessed directly from the bedroom. This meant that the bedroom floor became wet after using the shower. No bin in the main bedroom, only in the toilet area "
