"This hotel is tired even though we got the impression it’s tried to be spruced up. Room was cold, hot water scarce and breakfast was bang average. I wouldn’t have minded if I’d paid half of what I did but no way this hotel is worth the money they charge. "

"Room was clean when we arrived. Bed was comfortable. We were given the family apartment which had a bunk bed in the bedroom in addition to the queen which made it crowded. living area was comfortable and location was convenient to grocery, restaurants and shopping. Check in is not at the apartment which was unexpected. Apartment location is its best feature."

"We really appreciated having a mini fridge in the room. It was stocked with fresh milk a glass bottles of ice water. There was a large selection of teas and instant coffee. We had a huge room with a king bed. Our early morning tour departures prevented us from partaking of the breakfast. We enjoyed the yummy biscuits that were with the tea things. The location made it very easy to walk to restaurants and shops. There are many excellent restaurants nearby."

"Hotel is not the best . In fact for similar price you can find much better hotels . I asked for half an hour late check out but receptionist adamant I have to check out at 11 o’clock. The room service simply covered the sheets and no more . No new towels . Noise is terrible , probably is the nature of the hotel . In short I do not recommend this hotel"

"The Rocpool is a great place to stay in Inverness. It’s walkable into town, with a little uphill climb. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the room itself was very comfortable. The A/C was a huge plus since it was unusually warm during our stay. We had to leave before breakfast one morning for a day trip, and the hotel thoughtfully packed pastries, fruit, and sandwiches for us to take along, which we really appreciated. "Great location and the restaurant food was great. Be advised that you have to bring bags up a few steps because there is no elevator. The owner was wonderful and gave us great recommendations for dining and entertainment."
