    Nice little hotel with great staff

    The hotel is cheap and cheerful. Its nice and clean, and the staff are helpful and friendly. We were there to attend a concert and i must say, its location to the train station is fantastic.

    Could do with some TLC

    Clean fresh rooms though the common areas were a bit tired. Clasps on all windows broken so could only close some windows, which wasn't a problem in the current weather. Two receptionists, one polite & helpful, the other not. Good value for the area.

    Helpful friendly staff (schlepped our suitcases to the room). Parking on site, but tiny and with three cars in the lot, it took some precision maneuvering to get out. The room was clean and comfortable, but the en suite bathroom could use a bit of remodeling (gaps around the tub and water stains running down the wall... prob change out the mildew-stained shower curtain too). The train station is a 5-minute walk, Richmond Green is a bit further but convenient with pubs and shops, and just a bit further the Thames and a pleasant promenade.

    the price I paid the room was reasonable, needed a couple of lights changed and a good dust behind the tv and fan in the room. The main criticism was the mattress…it was awful, for the price I don’t expect to sleep on a cloud but it at-least needs a mattress topper to stop the springs sticking into you all night. Staff were really friendly and Richmond itself is a lovely area

    So i have given everything on this hotel and my stay in this place 5 stars all around. Tge reason for this is because for Value for money considering its London its really good especially with parking slots and the train station just down the road like a 3 minute walk. The staff were really good and helpful i didnt feel i needed anything more for the amount this cost me. Thank you to the gentleman who were at reception and were a friendly bunch. My son enjoyed his first visit to London and although we have stayed at significantly better establishments he said that we will need to come back here again the next time.

    Very friendly staff and very welcoming. Close to the train station and places to eat. Hotel is very tired and shabby with a Fawlty Towers vibe. If you have any sense of humour, you'll love it!

    Lovely and clean

    Good stay for the price. Decor a little dated but what I appreciated the most was the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Shower was great and the mattress was very comfortable. Perfect for those living out of town and needing to travel to London to visit their offices.

    This was a perfect place for my daughter and I to stay. It’s very basic and perfectly adequate. Short walk to town, able to watch locals bustling about, very helpful staff (esp Sara), clean, small shower but amazing water pressure.

    The only slight downsides were a bit of flight path and traffic noise, and occasional creaky floorboards above. It was a comfortable, spacious room, and although the supplies of tea/coffee/etc. and toiletries were simple, we certainly had everything we needed for our stay. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. The location is excellent: a short walk from Richmond station in one direction and from Richmond centre in the other, offering a huge choice of restaurants and pubs, plus bakeries, shops and a supermarket. We travelled by train/tube but the hotel also has a car park.
