"This is the second time we have stayed at the Grand Dunes. We were there one year ago, liked the property and returned this year. It had an old time style from the lobby to the rooms. "The elevators were slow and some broken. They wouldn’t let you bring a cooler to the pool but the drink stand( Tipsy Turtle) kept closing. It made no sense. Also you had to wait until 9am to sit at the pool. Fire alarm went off and it smelled like smoke but after we evacuated no one communicated what happened.
