"We thought it was a cool hotel. We didn’t like that there wasn’t a door on the bathroom. Other than that we loved it! Huge room! Bed was comfortable!"
"Despite reading some negative reviews before booking, we decided to give this hotel a chance because we know that some guests can be overly picky. We are not demanding travelers and usually overlook minor inconveniences. Unfortunately, many of the concerns mentioned in previous reviews turned out to be true.
When we arrived, there was only one roll of toilet paper in the room, and it was almost empty. The bathtub was not properly cleaned, and there was a strange odor throughout the room. We were two guests, yet the bathroom amenities included only one small bar of soap and a sample-size body lotion. No shampoo or conditioner was provided.
Another concern was the hotel's policy stating that they are not responsible for lost or stolen items, even if they disappear from inside your room. This does not create a sense of security for guests.
The breakfast was also disappointing. The options consisted of bananas, coffee that tasted mostly like water, small plastic bottles of orange juice, packaged bread, and cereal flakes. The selection was very limited and far below expectations.
Overall, the lack of cleanliness, minimal amenities, poor breakfast, and questionable security policy made this a disappointing stay. I would not choose to stay here again and cannot recommend it."
"Great hotel to stay. Front desk person at check in super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast included but disappointed with what was offered. Has the basics but may want to include a little more variety, especially fresh fruit. And post hours of the bar area. Otherwise great place to stay."
"Stayed there a year ago had an excellent stay. Some how in the last year management has changed. The bar is not open anymore .Pool rules have changed and are not clearly marked. Over all not a terrible experience just Different than the last visit! Did not expect to have a different experience."
"I arrived after 11 pm. Description says there is someone at the desk 24/7, but reality is there is phone, not a person. The person comes after you dial them on the phone. First room assignment smelled strongly of mold. Staff was kind enough to offer me an alternative that worked. I appreciated that, but honestly, the condition of this motel was not good, in general, for the price point. Again, the description said that there was free continental breakfast. There was a breakfast room, but I could find no hours of operation posted at the room. When I left the next morning around 7:30 am, the breakfast room was still dark. The room did have a refrigerator that I was grateful for.
But even with that, I will find another option in the future when driving this route and needing to stop for the night."
"Unfortunately, this was one of the least enjoyable hotel stays we’ve had. The room appeared old, poorly maintained, and not very clean. The pillowcases looked worn and stained, the carpet felt dirty, and several of the bed linens were torn.
The bathroom was especially disappointing. The shower had visible rust, and the water never became more than lukewarm. Sleep was also difficult because the blackout curtains did not properly cover the window, allowing bright outdoor lights to shine into the room throughout the entire night.
There were also several signs of poor attention to detail, such as a coffee maker being provided without the coffee pot. Overall, the room felt neglected and in need of a thorough deep cleaning and maintenance update. I would not choose to stay here again unless significant improvements were made."
