While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). "The Plough is in a very picturesque area and is also very conveniently situated and easy to get to. The room was comfortable and the pub itself had a friendly feel with an excellent menu. Beside quite a busy road but it was quiet at night. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area. "
