Experiencia en el hotel

El hotel es pequeño pero limpio y ordenado y la atención del staff es amable. Yo reservé una habitación doble y las camas estaban separadas. Pero al parecer es costumbre en Egipto, que en todos los alojamientos la cama sean separadas. Para mejorar, el hotel debería de cambiar las cortinas de las duchas que en mi concepto no están muy limpias y dar un mejor papel higiénico ya que es muy delgado y corto el rollo.

ルクソール神殿から歩いて20分位の場所にあり治安も良く部屋は広くて手入れも行き届いていておりスタッフもフレンドリーで満足です。近くにはミイラ博物館、ルクソール博物館がありますがカルナック神殿までは歩くのは暑さの中ややキツイかもしれません。私の場合Googleマップを見ながら行ったけど途中で分からなくなり結局タクシーで行きました。残念な事は現地の格安ツアーは紹介していないそうです。

Good for budget travelers

We had a slight hiccup at the beginning by overall we had a good stay. The wifi does not work but that goes for all of Egypt in our experience. The rooms are nothing fancy but the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works, the showers have hot water, so no complaints. The breakfast is simple and has typical Egyptian food- we enjoyed it! Definitely recommend for budget travelers and short stays. www.happynomadcouple.com

Small family owned hotel, not far from town centre

Staff attentive as always, even though Luxor/ Egypt are struggling through lack of tourists they remain cheerful. Security as safe as always, I have never experienced any trouble even when visiting during the 2011 revolution, just after the Hatshepsut incident or any other time. It is heart breaking to see them all struggling. I expected a high 'hassle factor' due to the lack of tourists, but actually found it to be less than usual. I expect that a lot of the 'incomers' have gone back to where they came from and you are left with just the genuine locals, who have always been friendly and welcoming rather than hassle.

The hotel is very old and musty built. Furniture need for a full replacement. Food services are not available in a respectable hotel. And parking is not available. The hotel does not deserve a three-star and not even one star. The only thing is a very good way of dealing upscale and simplicity of workers and high morals.

For the price, you couldn't do better.

Would of been helpful if the staff spoke better English and were able to give clear directions on how to find our way around Luxor. However they tried their best and were friendly and cheerful. Breakfast was pretty good. For the price, I felt the hotel was a good deal.

The St Joseph,check in was prompt,room was very nice considering this is a 3 star.Breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold foods .Location,its a 15 minute walk to downtown Luxor and apart from taxi touts was a pleasant excersise.Our room had a great view over the nile to the mountains ,only a water tower marred it slightly!Rooftop Cafe was nice with good tourist food and cold beer!Nice swimming pool.I felt sorry for people staying over the road at a much more expensive place!Definatly use again.

Great value

Our two nights stay at the St. Joseph hotel were quite pleasant. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Great value for the cost. We would definitely stay there again.
