"We had a wonderful stay at Talta Lodge. The grounds were beautiful, and the river was a peaceful place to relax. The complimentary morning coffee was a great way to start each day. "Stayed over July 2nd. They were gearing up for the 4th but everything other than the main lodge was closed which was a bummer. The pool was great, and the place looks really awesome, just wish it had been more active."

"I have stayed at the Green Mountain Inn several times and it is always a wonderful experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly. A nice touch is tea time every afternoon - our kids love it and so do we! The pool is beautiful especially with the two fire pits near by. The Whip has great food and atmosphere. Will continue to stay here anytime I go to Stowe. The only suggestion I have for them is to upgrade the WiFi. Still 5 stars!! Love the GMI!!!"

"It was very cute however there was a few misconceptions shown online. For one there wasn’t any indication it was right off the road. The pictures online show it to be tucked in the woods. I also was confused when I checked in to realize we weren’t staying the in the cabin we were staying in a motel room. The pictures all showed a cabin. My room was very rough around the edges, some holes in the walls, dents and missing pieces of trim, one electrical outlet was uncovered with exposed wires, some mildew in the tub, grunge around windows. Not worth $190 a night for sure."
