"Everything was ok"

"There were mixed reviews, but we decided to give it a shot. The motel is older and needs updating, but what was concerning was that it was dirty and gross. There were stains all over the sheets, many spots on the carpet, and the floor we stayed on was non-smoking. We could smell smoke while walking down the hall and in our room. The bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned; the bottom was dark. Walking down to the pool, there were lots of spills and stains on the walls and carpet. The pool was down 3 sets of stairs, and the elevator was out of service. Down at the pool, the concrete steps were damaged and cracked, making them easy to cut yourself on. There was insulation falling off an air duct. Several used Band-Aids were lying by the pool in a pile of dirt that looked like it had been there for a long time. We decided it wasn't the place for us. We were told that the staff would refund our money, but then they backed out of that. Hotels.com said there is nothing they can do. They've tried to contact management and they will not respond I don't know why they keep doing business with this motel. I have 56 pics of the condition of this place and will gladly share them."

"Room was clean and on the strip in pigeon forge. Across the street from the islands, which is a fun locale for the evening. Very convenient and accessible to everything we wanted to do."

"The Walden, Trademark Collection By Wyndham was excellent in every way. The facilities were all anyone needs when staying in the Dollywood area. Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, clean and open from 6am to 2am for your convenience. The free breakfast was top notch. The rooms and building were clean and well maintained. The rooms that have a balcony was a great bonus. I would like to recognize Khmany from the desk staff and Bibianna from the cleaning staff. All employees were friendly and helpful. There was even a convenient, nice gazebo for smokers located away from all other areas. The lcoation is perfect, within walking distance of attractions, stores, and restaurants. Will definitely stay again when in the area."

"The rooms were very clean and anytime there was a problem in your room or needed anything they were right there to bring it to you. The hotel is outdated and needs some updating but everything was in working condition. The pool and hot tub were great this hotel also has a lazy river which we saw lots of people taking advantage of it. This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel and we like it for the quietness. The only thing we were not crazy about was the breakfast but we weren’t to concerned about that i usually cooked my own breakfast or we ate breakfast out. We will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we go to the Smokey Mountains."
